Issue

Issue:
On certain vehicles, the power cable(s) in the fuse box may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the cable(s) could become loose and overheat. If this happens, the engine could stall and the headlamps and/or the power steering assist could stop working.

Safety Risk:
A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Wiring that overheats could create the risk of a fire. A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort. Headlamps that stop working could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Aston Martin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fasteners for the power cables. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace any damaged parts.
