Issue
Issue:
On certain transit buses, a software problem could cause the natural gas detection system to falsely detect a high level of gas. As a result, the engine could shut down suddenly.
Note: This recall only affects buses equipped with a compressed natural gas (CNG) engine.
Safety Risk:
A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to update the natural gas detection system software.
