Transport Canada Recall - 2024601 - ALLIANCE RV

Issue:
On a small number of RV trailers, the 7-pin trailer connector may not have been wired correctly. As a result, the emergency trailer breakaway switch may not work properly, and the trailer brakes may not automatically apply if the trailer separates from the tow vehicle.

Safety Risk:
A trailer breakaway switch that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Alliance RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to rewire the 7-pin trailer connector.
