Transport Canada Recall - 2025680 - GENERAL MOTORS

Issue: Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the passenger-front airbag to deploy with too much force. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with the AT4X AEV (American Expedition Vehicle) option. Safety Risk: An airbag that inflates with too much force could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the airbag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software.
