Issue:
On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display.
Note: This problem would cause a "Camera Error. Turn your vehicle off and on again" message to be displayed. This recall only affects vehicles equipped with the optional DreamDrive Pro package.
Safety Risk:
A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Lucid will notify owners by mail. Lucid has sent a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. If you haven't yet accepted the software update, Lucid encourages you to do so. If you need assistance with this update, you should contact Lucid customer care or a Lucid service center. There is no further action needed if your vehicle has software version 2.8.17 or a later release.
