Issue:
On certain trucks, the steering cross shaft could fail and cause a loss of right-hand steering control.
Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a right-hand stand up steering configuration.
Safety Risk:
A loss of steering control could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the steering cross shaft.
