Issue
On certain scooters, the wrong rearview mirrors may have been installed. As a result, the mirrors are missing the "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear." warning. Note: This recall only affects certain Officina 8 models.
Safety risk
If the warning is missing, the rider may not be aware that objects reflected in the mirrors appear farther away than they actually are. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Piaggio will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your scooter to a dealership to replace the rearview mirrors.
