Issue
On one RV trailer, the furnace may not have been installed correctly. As a result, exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide could build up inside the trailer when the furnace is used.
Safety risk
A build-up of exhaust gas in the trailer could result in carbon monoxide poisoning.
Corrective actions
To reduce the safety risk, Forest River recommends not using the furnace until recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their RV trailer to a dealership to install the furnace correctly.
