Issue

This recall is for certain vehicles that had a battery energy control module (BECM) replaced during service. On certain vehicles, the replacement battery energy control module may not have been programmed correctly. As a result, the state of charge could display incorrectly, so a person may not recognize the low state of charge, which could cause a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, this could lead to the high-voltage battery overheating after repeated fast charging.
