This recall is for cabs installed on certain trucks or sold as a replacement part. On a small number of trucks, the bolt(s)s on the cab may be loose or missing. As a result, crash performance could be reduced. Note: This voluntary recall is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Safety risk
Reduced crash performance could increase the risk of injury.
Corrective actions
Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, install and/or tighten the cab bolt(s).
