This recall involves VESTA VRP/VRS Tankless Water Heaters.
For the VRS and VRP models, all serial numbers are subject to the recall.
For the VRS-Plus and VRP-Plus models, the following products are subject to the recall:
- All products with serial numbers starting with 6LM and 6LN
- For products with serial numbers starting with 6LO, if the next character is A, B, C, D, E, or F, then it is subject to recall.

Issue
The exhaust duct can crack, allowing gases to escape inside of the home, posing a carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning hazard that can result in death or serious injury.
As of October 10, 2025, the company has received 10 reports of cracked exhaust ducts in Canada, and no reports of injury or death. In the United States, the company has received 33 reports of cracked exhaust ducts and no reports of injury or death.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled water heater and contact VESTA.DS to have a certified technician install the free repair.
