Affected products
This recall involves Vevor’s wrought iron single post handrails for one or two step stairs. The handrails were sold in black, white, and silver. The affected model numbers are below. “Vevor” is printed on a label located near the bottom of the handrail and the model number is on the label of the product’s packaging.

Issue
The Subject Products are unstable due to welding issues (welding only four points) between the railing post and base plate. Such handrail welding can break while a consumer is holding it when stepping down a flight of stairs, posing a fall and injury hazards.
As of July 24, 2025 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Vevor for a full refund. To receive refund, consumers can provide photographic evidence of disposal or destruction of the recalled handrails to recalling@vevor.ca.
