Only the PA-300C AC adaptor is being recalled. The adaptor was sold with certain digital instruments and musical products. The adaptor was not, on its own, sold at retail. In addition, the adaptor was built-in to certain YAMAHA CLAVINOVA CLP Series and CVP Series digital pianos as specified below.

PA-300C AC Power Adaptors may have an issue with the DC plug generating abnormal heat. Continuing abnormal heat generation may lead to melting, smoke, or ignition posing a burn and fire hazard.
As of May 27, 2025, the company has received 1 reported incident and no reports of injuries in Canada.
