Affected products
This recall involves DT Swiss carbon fiber bicycle wheelsets, made up of DT Swiss stainless steel spokes, DT Swiss aluminum hubs, and carbon fiber rims. Models ERC, CRC, HEC and ARC with DT Swiss ID numbers of 2750000 and higher are affected.
The rims are black (carbon fiber) and show the product model categories on the side of the rim of ERC, CRC, HEC, or ARC.
Issue
The carbon fiber can delaminate, which could cause the rim to deform. This could cause the rider to lose control of the bicycle, posing a fall hazard.
As of July 15th, 2025, the company has received no reports of the rims delaminating in Canada, and no reports of injuries.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled DT Swiss carbon fiber wheelsets and contact DT Swiss for a replacement if applicable.
