Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner recalled due to burn hazard

Affected products
This recall involves the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner, a lightweight, portable home steam cleaner that can be used to clean, detail, sanitize and deodorize various household surfaces. The unit is a compact, cube shaped steam cleaner base connected to a black flexible hose and a handheld wand.
The Steam Cleaner bears model number DUP020WNA. Each Steam Cleaner also has a label bearing the unit’s batch/date numbers in the format MMYY-XX, with XX representing a two-digit number or letter code. Only units of the Steam Cleaner bearing batch/date numbers 0118-01 through 0425-05 are impacted by the recall. Units bearing batch/date codes 0525-XX and later are not impacted by the recall.
The model number and batch/date numbers can be found on a sticker on the underside of the base of the Steam Cleaner.
Issue
When the steam cleaner’s boiler is overfilled, extensively corroded, and the pressure release valve (boiler cap) also malfunctions, the boiler can rupture, posing a risk of serious injury or burn to the user or bystanders.
As of January 20, 2026, the company has received 15 reports of boiler ruptures, including four reports of minor burns, bruises, lacerations, and a broken wrist, and at least seven reports of minor property damage. Three of these reports originated in Canada and 12 originated in the United States.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Dupray for a free replacement boiler cap.
