Affected products
This recall involves plush bears with item codes PSL163B and PSL363B which can be found on the hang tags. The plush bears are black, with red sweaters, red/white striped hats, and either the word "Vancouver" or "Canada" on the sweater.
Issue
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that these plush toys do not comply with the Toys Regulations under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The hard plastic eyes can detach, which poses a small part choking hazard to young children.
As of November 20, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled plush bears and return to place of purchase for a refund.
